My creative process starts with thinking about the overall idea, then breaking it down into smaller digestible moments and highlights. From there, a lot of editing takes place making sure key points are not missed and remembered for their impact and meaning.
As a second generation dancer, connection to dance stems from three years old studying in New Jersey. I would later go on to train at summer intensives and furthering my studies in college. Dance has allowed me to travel the world dancing, teaching, choreographing and mentoring others. I even have a scholarship dedicated to students who wish to be arts professionals. My goal is to show how multifaceted an artist can be in the 21st century.
I want to thank the entire team at Linden Street Press for being apart of this journey and also to TaKiyah Wallace for her insight and Justin Campbell for his artistry. Also huge shout out to my family including my parents June and Osvaldo Lee, my cousin Luis, and my partner Curtis.
